    The Big Bop!
    by Granny
Attended the last Commissioners’ meeting at the Middletown Grange on Wednesday August 18th, 2010.  What is it about these two majority commissioners?  I’ve never seen such disrespectful behavior by two elected people toward citizens who’ve taken the time to attend one of these circuses.

Here were four people who chose to speak during public comment at the end of the meeting about the recent hiring of Sean Corr as the new Assistant Solicitor for the County.  It seems last fall Sean bopped a guy on the head who was videotaping a pigeon shoot.   If you’ve never seen a pigeon shoot, check this YouTube and see both the bird and the cameraman being assaulted and falling to the ground:

Steve Hindi–the bopped guy–was the first of the four speakers at the Bucks Commissioners meeting.  Cawley and Martin ridiculed all four of them, including a representative from the PA Humane Society who filed a complaint about the pigeon shooting.  The commissioners downplayed the entire incident.

Yo!  Guys–that was one bop.  I think there’s another phrase for it–it’s called criminal assault.  Instead Cawley (who’s a lawyer and should know better) and Martin fluffed it off comparing it to no more than a parking ticket.  Then as if wondering out loud, one of the two asked, “What do you think that pigeon’s name was?”
